Falafels

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of Chickpeas, drained
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 handful of Parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp. Oat/Coconut/Almond Flour
  • 1 tbsp. Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • ¼ tsp. Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 190⁰C
  • Place chickpeas in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped
  • Transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and add all of the remaining ingredients
  • Fold together until evenly combined and then use your hands to make round balls
  • Place the balls on a baking tray and bake for about 30 minutes or until slightly browned
  • Enjoy!

Serving Suggestion:

  • Enjoy in a salad or with some homemade tsatsiki
