100% Healthy Hummus



  • 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of Himalayan rock salt


  • Add chickpeas and garlic to a blender and pulse a few times until chopped
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend until it gets smooth texture
  • Serve immediately or store in fridge for up to 3 days

Serving suggestions:

  • Use as a dip with freshly chopped vegetables (carrots and peppers are my favourite)
